The VEEGMAN offices are haunted.

In the first picture you’ll notice the blue glass cups stacked on the far right of the cabinet - this is how these glasses are ALWAYS stacked.

In the second picture you’ll notice one glass all the way on the left - this glass was perfectly balanced on the edge of the shelf to the point that the slightest touch made it fall. No one in the VEEGMAN offices admits to placing the glass like this.

VEEGMAN hopes it’s a friendly ghost.

Introducing VEEGMAN FACTORY.

Inspired by nature and vintage design, VEEGMAN FACTORY creates custom handmade furniture, coat/key/jewelry racks, and decorative pieces from found and reclaimed materials. Currently in it’s first run, all wood has been salvaged from the piers in Red Hook Brooklyn.

VEEGMAN is a sucker for vintage oil cans. These were found in an old cellar with the rust preventative still in the canisters.
These were probably used to grease under the hood of a Ford Fairlane or Pontiac GTO.

The VEEGMAN weapon of choice this winter for fighting chapped lips and burnt noses.
Contains no mineral oils, paraffin wax, petrolatum, or PABA.
Smells like a pretty girl eating licorice in a wooded ski lodge.

The cold weather is kicking in the North East and the gardens have all wilted evoking memories of the VEEGMAN harvest from last summer.

Sprouted from seeds, a small plot of soil in front of an old church in Red Hook Brooklyn and planters hung off of fire escapes produced quite the bounty - sugar snap peas, heirloom tomatoes, jumbo cucumbers, and red peppers. Check out the owl made of driftwood.

Look closely and find the locust that made it’s home among the tomato bush.

Garden planning has already begun for this Spring.

A shim is so underrated.
Most people often overlook their small size but VEEGMAN has found a million uses - stoping a table/chair from rocking on uneven flooring, scratching off lottery tickets, propping up newly painted items so they can dry, keeping two pieces of delicate wood from scraping together with building furniture, etc.

VEEGMAN likes working with his hands, so much so at times he wishes he had a third. Vices are a good alternative.

In loving memory of Alice Ann (Imre) O’Rourk - she taught everything a VEEGMAN knows.

Keeping your hands warm in the winter can be a challenge. There are a number of options - Thinsulate gloves, tucking them in your armpits, or those disposable bean bag warmers.

VEEGMAN uses this vintage Jon-e hand warmer. Made of chrome-plated steel and fueled by clean burning lighter fluid, these things have been keeping VEEGMAN warm for over 50 years.
